Located in historic downtown Havre de Grace, MD, our headquarters serve as the core of all LufCo operations. Our office is a high tech laboratory and playground where our busy engineers and analysts can collaborate, innovate, and experiment. Whether hosting clients, holding 24-hour product hack-a-thons, or just providing a relaxing, colorful, and family/pet friendly environment to our team, there is always something exciting going on.

Located in the Fort Meade area, our newest offices provide a space for the team to meet, collaborate, or a quiet place to work away from whatever else you may be juggling. (There’s also a gym!) Our office is located next to Junction Deli.
As CEO, Heather has been leading LufCo since 2014. She has continuously encouraged flat, empowered, agile teams. With an extensive background supporting the Chem-Bio defense sector, Heather now applies her energies toward building trusted teams to rapidly develop and deploy reliable and innovative software solutions for government, commercial, and non-profit organizations.
Heather married a fellow UMBC alum, Andrew, and together they enjoy spending time with their three wonderful children and tending their farm in Churchville, MD.
What are you most proud of?
It’s hard to narrow it down…job diversification for our workforce, empowering them to grow and make career transitions and significant pivots in their roles, serving customer missions across multiple IC/DOD projects, and securing long term opportunities for our team members.
Andy understands big vision and delivers results to prove it. With 20+ years of “BigData” projects for federal and commercial clients, Andy thrives on solving difficult challenges whether starting new projects or jumping into something that is already underway. His experience includes software architecture, FullStack DevOps and Software team leadership.
Andy specializes in large farm equipment, dad jokes, bluegrass jam sessions, and Maryland history. He also has an affinity for sea shanties.
What are you most proud of?
All the wonderful people. We’ve built a team of folks who care about our partners’ mission and solving technically complex problems. That’s more than I could ask for.
Beth started her time in the Intelligence Community as a US Navy Cryptologic Officer and joined the cleared contractor community in 2006. After helping build a small company followed by a stint with a large engineering integrator, Beth joined LufCo in 2017, returning to her love of building a strong, small company foundation. Beth believes that foundation starts and ends with a great team, and she’d be happy to introduce you to every single LufCo employee to prove it.
In her spare time, Beth has never met a house she didn’t want to renovate, and you can keep her occupied for hours talking about dogs (hers, yours, in general - you pick).
What are you most proud of?
It’s humbling to see that every LufCo employee is proud to be a part of the organization and that we got here, together, with hard work and sweat equity - and nothing else.
Pete brings almost 30 years as a technologist, software engineer, and hands-on leader in the cybersecurity field to bear on every project. With skills honed over 22 years as a US Army cyber professional and a long consulting career, he specializes in solving the problems others avoid. A longtime Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CompTIA, Pete strives to transform cybersecurity from an art into a science by giving back to and influencing the future of his profession.
A machinist, woodworker, 3D printer, and mechanic, Pete is a lifelong maker who loves to create tangible things. He lives by the motto that life's too short to drink bad coffee or eat boring food.
What are you most proud of?
The success and growth of those I’ve been privileged to lead and mentor over my career. The most rewarding feeling is watching someone accomplish something they thought was impossible.
